Humango AI helps endurance athletes train smarter through AI-powered personalized training plans, but the challenge was communicating that value in a way that resonated with athletes on social media.
For this Meta campaign, I led creative and messaging testing to understand what motivated users to convert. We tested personalization focused messaging against aspirational themes like "train like a real athlete" and found that personalization consistently performed better. Athletes responded most strongly when we highlighted how Humango creates a training plan tailored to their goals, fitness level, and race schedule.
We also tested multiple creative formats and found that athlete focused videos outperformed testimonial creatives, generating more conversions. In international markets, localized creatives further improved performance, with native language ads outperforming English versions.
The final campaign focused on showcasing Humango's personalized training experience for runners, cyclists, and triathletes, demonstrating how the app adapts training as athletes progress toward race day.
With a $3.5K budget, the campaign achieved a $50 CPA and a 2.1% CTR, delivering a 10% lower CPA and 15% higher CTR than the account average.
